APTIM Senior Recruiter in Baton Rouge, Louisiana
APTIM is looking for a Senior Recruiter that is able to travel. Senior Recruiter will be responsible for all steps associated with the sourcing and selection of external qualified candidates. The ability to develop strong communication channels with external candidates and a variety of internal managers and executives over multiple business lines is crucial for success. Performs other duties as required.
Research, source (using referrals, data mining and internet resources), evaluate resumes, conduct screening interviews to qualify candidates and present candidates to hiring managers
Work closely with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and determine best recruiting practices to attract the most highly qualified candidates; must have a good working knowledge and understanding of employment laws and regulations;
Must be highly adaptable and have the ability to manage a requisition load that is cyclical and fast paced
Must be able to adapt to changing priorities and interface with all levels of management
Develop and implement sourcing strategies for current and projected hiring needs
Partner with hiring managers to understand lines of business and hiring needs
Partner with HR to provide best practices and customer service to hiring community
Will be responsible for staffing related metrics which are reviewed per business line
May coach less experienced team members
Wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
Minimum 5 years current experience successfully recruiting for Craft or Professionals
Minimum 5 years' experience working with applicant tracking systems
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
The ability to develop strong communication channels with external candidates and a variety of internal managers and executives over multiple business lines.
Experience with Applicant Tracking System preferred
Ability to work in a high stress fast paced environment
Ability to work independently within a team centric environment with minimal guidance
Proven ability to develop long term business relationships with candidates and managers
Strong negotiation skills
Strong prioritization skills
Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience
Must have excellent time management skills
Able to apply knowledge and skills to a wide range of standard and nonstandard situations
