APTIM Quality Specialist in Ft. Irwin, California
Performs assigned QA/QC tasks on assigned projects. Responsible for all activities involving quality assurance and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements; conducts audits and reviews/analyzes data and documentation.
Performs inspection and monitoring of project activities.
Performs sampling and testing activities.
Documents inspection, monitoring, sampling and testing activities.
Monitors quality assurance activities to determine conformance with corporate policy and procedures.
Ensures the effective implementation of the quality program for assigned project tasks.
Provides periodic reports to the Director QA/QC, or the QA/QC Manager, on the effectiveness of the quality program for assigned tasks.
Works independently with minimal guidance.
Usually determines own work priorities. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
May stabilize at this level for many years. Has expertise in own discipline. Applies knowledge and skills to a wide range of standard and nonstandard situations. Interprets customer needs, assesses requirements and identifies solutions to non-standard requests.
Uses best practices and knowledge of internal/external business issues to improve products or services in own discipline. Monitors and controls costs within own work.
Solves moderately complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions.
