APTIM Radiological Control Technician - Senior in Gloucester City, New Jersey

Job Summary:

Carries out company's health physics, safety and industrial hygiene policies and procedures on field project assignments. Other duties may be assigned. USACE experince is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carries out company's health physics and industrial hygiene policies and procedures on field project assignments.

  • Maintain and operate radiation measuring equipment; conduct radiological surveys and performs radiological samples; interprets survey and sample data; assist in the writing of detailed Site Specific Health and Safety Plans.

  • Provides instruction to others regarding radiological hazards.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Acts as a technical specialist within own area

  • Is a team leader; does not formally supervise

  • Has developed depth and breadth of knowledge/skills in own area

  • Applies knowledge/skills to complex problems; coordinates work beyond own area of expertise

  • Recommends changes to current processes to respond to customer needs

  • Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions

  • Manages own time and that of others

  • Acts as a facilitator to resolve conflicts within a team. Typically represents 7 to 25+ years relevant experience.
