APTIM Senior Tank Project Manager in Irvine, California

Job Overview:

The Project Manager will build strong customer relationships across the Northern California Refineries. Partner with Business Development Leads to identify and capture Tank and Seal Repair work.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for overall project performance

  • Initial job walks with customers and job reps

  • Organize initial job set-up, order parts and equipment/consumables, schedule labor.

  • Oversee daily job operations and troubleshoot problems that arise at several locations throughout the Bay area. Final job walks with customers and site reps.

  • May have responsibility for multiple projects

  • Establishes and monitors project safety and quality programs

  • Plans, organizes, coordinates, and controls small projects in accordance with the established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements

  • Represents the company to client and maintains client relationship

Basic Qualifications:

  • Expertise on tank construction and project management

  • Local knowledge of refineries in California

  • 10+ years of experience in Project Management role

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Demonstrated success in problem solving and delivering innovative solutions

  • Interacts well in a dynamic office team environment

  • Must be willing to travel to cover other projects
