APTIM Energy & Sustainability Specialist in Madison, Wisconsin

Job Overview:

Responsible for assisting in the administration of energy efficiency programs by performing a variety of tasks including research, technical guidance development, and support with technical questions. Perform other duties as required.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • Maintain technology work papers used to justify energy savings associated with specific equipment, appliances, and processes

  • Provide guidance on measures, energy savings calculations, project reviews, technical measure/theory related to how cost effectiveness is calculated and avoided cost through sampling

  • Evaluate program data for engineering integrity

  • Investigate and advise on technical issues and assist in coordination efforts, providing technical support to program staff

  • Perform ad hoc research on Focus on Energy data to promote continuous improvement

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience from an accredited college or university

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency in the use of software tools used to combine and analyze data from various sources, solve practical problems, and generate reports and graphics
