APTIM Financial Analyst in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Summary:

Compiles and analyzes financial information for an organization. Develops integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations. In addition, any other duties assigned or required.

Responsibilities:

  • Creates and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensures financial information has been recorded accurately.

  • Performs financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts.

  • Performs a variety of tasks such as Intercompany cost recording and balancing, Joint Venture reporting, Cost/Labor accrual recording, Cash posting and reporting, Project Accounting.

  • Serves as a liaison between project execution team, management and accounting organization.

  • Works under general supervision.

  • Creativity and latitude is required.

  • Reports to a supervisor or manager.

  • Performs all functions involved in the financial closing process.

Qualifications/Competencies/Experience:

  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

  • Must have a bachelor's degree in accounting

  • Advanced Excel skills, knowledge of JD Edwards ERP System preferred.

  • Must have 2-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area or equivalent years of experience.
